Isola Arts offers Waldo’s Secret Art & Antique Barn Sale Saturday Jan. 3 and Sunday Jan. 4 the sale continues from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We host the member artists of Isola Arts along with a massive antique sale featuring some very special picks from Waldo’s many treasures. Drive to the back of the property next to the silos where you’ll find art, music and libations waiting for you.

American Association of University Women Vero Beach presents How We Learn to Be Brave Inspirational Book Review Breakfast Jan. 5 at 9:30 a.m. Carol Ludwig, Executive Director of the Vero Beach Center for Spiritual Care, will review the book by Mariann Budde, in the Richardson Center of the Indian River State College campus in Vero Beach. The event is free and open to the public.
Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Historic House Tours Tuesday 1-5 p.m. Jan 6 (Each Tues. to the end of April, 2026). See how the noted poet and author lived in her “cracker” architecture-styled house during a docent led tour at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.
North Indian River County Library offers Silent Book Club – Sebastian Jan. 6 at 6:00 p.m. Silence is Golden, Reading is Bliss! Silent Book Club is a global community of readers that meet once a month to read silently, together. Just like minded readers getting lost in the world of books, alone, together.
The Emerson Center Presents The Indian River Lagoon Story with Heather Stapleton of Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program Jan. 6 at 7:00 p.m. Stapleton will share insights on the ecological importance of the Indian River Lagoon and the community’s role in protecting one of North America’s most diverse estuaries.
Environmental Learning Center offers Wild Wednesdays Jan. 7 & 14 at 3:00 p.m. Join at the F.U.N. Zone Nature Playscape (Families Unplugged in Nature). Designed with homeschool families in mind, this is a chance for kids and parents to unplug, connect with others, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the ELC has to offer.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Second Saturday on Jan. 10, 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Admission is free every second Saturday of the month. Second Saturdays features a variety of cultural offerings, including the widely popular Museums Studios for families. Activities vary each month.
Riverside Theatre offers Playtime in the Park on Jan. 10, 11:00 a.m. A FREE program for the community’s youngest audience members, it includes dance and theatre offerings from our education programs on the Theatre’s Loop Stage. Ideal for kids 2-5, entertaining for parents and the whole family, too!
The Vero Beach Art Club presents 37th Annual Art By the Sea Jan. 10 and 11 at 10:00 a.m. Held at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, this is a members show from both the Museum and the Art Club and offers artists the opportunity to display one piece of their artwork, all of which are available for purchase. The exhibit is open to the public and free to attend.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Double Portraits, an exhibition on view through January 11, 2026. Featuring 47 photographs by 34 artists, each capturing the rich and ever-evolving American South through the concept of a “double portrait.”
