McKee Botanical Garden offers Rare & Exotic Orchid Exhibit & Sale Sep 5 & 6 at 9:00 a.m. In partnership with the Vero Beach Orchid Society, this event features many of Florida’s premier Orchid growers with the opportunity to admire and acquire some of the world’s finest specimen orchids.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Museum Stories at VBMA Sept. 9 at 9:30 a.m. Every Wednesday at the VBMA unless closed for holiday. A theme-based, participatory program for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers that includes reading books, singing songs, dancing, and creating art together. Museum Stories takes place in the VBMA’s Art Zone. 9:30-10:30 a.m. (0-24 months) and 10:30-11:30 a.m. (2-4 years).

Environmental Learning Center offers IRL Youth Action Assembly Sept. 12, 8:30 a.m. A free, one-day assembly bringing together young people to study the problems facing the Indian River Lagoon — and leave with real plans to fix them.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Second Saturday on Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. Admission is free every second Saturday of the month. Second Saturdays features a variety of cultural offerings, including the widely popular Museums Studios for families. Activities vary each month.
Riverside Theatre offers Playtime in the Park on Sept. 12, 11:00 a.m. A FREE program for the community’s youngest audience members, Playtime in the Park will have dance and theatre offerings from our education programs on the Theatre’s outdoor Loop Stage. Vero Beach Museum of Art presents Frank Lloyd Wright and His Influence on Florida Architecture Sept. 12 at 3:00 p.m. Frank Lloyd Wright is considered by many to be America’s greatest architect. Although a majority of his buildings were constructed in the American Midwest, historians are often surprised to learn of his vast influence in Florida. Talk by Wayne Wood, held in the Leonhardt Auditorium. Free; Space is limited; pre-registration required.

Vero Beach Museum of Art presents Jill Nathanson: Chromatic Phrases in Schumann and Titelman galleries. This exhibition presents recent work by Jill Nathanson, whose abstract paintings are shaped through a deliberate process that balances spontaneity with a predetermined structure. In her work, color does not remain fixed or purely descriptive but instead suggests movement as it is shaped by the interaction of light and perception. Exhibit continues to Feb. 7, 2027.
