Outdoor exposure benefits humans in so many ways, yet we do not spend enough time outside.
Riverside Theatre offers Playtime in the Park on Sept. 19, 11:00 a.m. A FREE program for the community’s youngest audience members, Playtime in the Park will have dance and theatre offerings from our education programs on the Theatre’s outdoor Loop Stage. Environmental Learning Center offers Family Paddle Pro Class Sept. 19, 1:30 p.m. Presented in partnership with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. This classroom-style workshop covers essential paddling safety, equipment, and navigation tips for kayakers and paddleboarders of all experience levels.

Space Coast Symphony presents Gilbert & Sullivan Unbuttoned Sept. 20, 3:00 p.m. Gilbert & Sullivan Unbuttoned is a brisk, glittering, and gloriously topsy-turvy entertainment in which pirates parade, maidens flutter, captains bluster, baritones patter at perilous speed, and no one in possession of rank, dignity, or self-importance remains entirely safe for very long. Environmental Learning Center offers Chair Yoga Sept. 22, 3 p.m. Join us for a gentler, more accessible form of yoga that’s done while sitting or using a chair for balance. Move into poses like cat/cow, warrior, sun salutations and forward folds.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Museum Stories at VBMA Sept. 23 at 9:30 a.m. Every Wednesday at the VBMA unless closed for holiday. A theme-based, participatory program for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers that includes reading books, singing songs, dancing, and creating art together. Museum Stories takes place in the VBMA’s Art Zone. 9:30-10:30 a.m. (0-24 months) and 10:30-11:30 a.m. (2-4 years).

Environmental Learning Center offers Dolphin Drift: SUP Yoga on Sept. 26, 9:30 a.m. This is a 60-minute yin-inspired yoga class on stand-up paddleboards, perfect for beginners and those looking to unwind on the water. No paddleboarding or yoga experience is necessary.

Vero Beach Museum of Art presents Jill Nathanson: Chromatic Phrases in Schumann and Titelman galleries. This exhibition presents recent work by Jill Nathanson, whose abstract paintings are shaped through a deliberate process that balances spontaneity with a predetermined structure. In her work, color does not remain fixed or purely descriptive but instead suggests movement as it is shaped by the interaction of light and perception. Exhibit continues to Feb. 7, 2027.
