McKee Botanical Garden welcomed more than 150 guests to the debut of Rhythm in Bloom on Friday, October 23, ‘wowing’ the crowd with an exclusive outdoor concert in a moonlit Garden after regular open hours.

The Kat Woods Trio opened the first concert of this two-part series with soulful vocals and a fresh acoustic sound, mixing cover songs with original created music. Under a moonlit sky, guests gathered with lawn chairs and blankets to watch the performance. Enthusiastic feedback from attendees made the inaugural event a resounding success.

The music continues on Friday, November 13, with Rhythm in Bloom: Rhythm & Sky, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The night will offer a special ‘Bites in Bloom’ menu from the Garden Café featuring street tacos, pulled pork sliders, artisan flatbreads, and sweet treats. Beer and wine are available for purchase in the concert area, along with beer samples provided by American Icon Brewery.

Admission is complimentary for McKee Botanical Garden members, $10 for non-member adults, and $5 for children. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, as seating is not provided. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
