Sebastian Inlet State Park is holding it’s Night Sounds Concert on Saturday, November 4, from 7 to 9 pm featuring The Penny Creek Band playing heart-felt, hard driving bluegrass music, combining traditional bluegrass, vintage country and fresh original material. The concert is free with regular park entry fees.

Gail Lois Jaffe is holding a workshop titled “Paint your Prayers, Draw your Dreams, Meditate & Create” on Saturday November 4 from 10 am to Noon at the Terri Mindfulness Center, 337 17th Street, Suite 2T in Vero Beach. Theatre-Go-Round Dinner Theatre, continues its performance of “That’s What Friends Are For” Celebrating the greatest hits by Dionne Warwick, on Sunday, November 5th at the Quilted Giraffe in Vero Beach. On Sunday, November 5th at 4 pm, the Vero Beach Choral Society presents “Wings of Song,” a choral music concert celebrating the sounds and songs of flight at Community Church of Vero Beach. Musical works include Morten Lauridsen’s Lux aeterna, selections from The Sacred Harp, and various contemporary choral works. Tickets are $15 in advance at, $20 at door.

Defying the Nazis, a powerful Ken Burns documentary about the rescue of hundreds of people early in World War II by Unitarian minister Waitstill Sharp and his wife Martha, will be shown at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 5. Admission is free.
