Humane Society to host showing of “The Paw Project” on March 18

Calling all cat lovers! Please join us at Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County on Sunday, March 18, 2018 when we will be hosting a free showing of the documentary The Paw Project from 10-11:30 a.m. in the shelter’s Adoption and Education Room located at 6230 77th St., Vero Beach. Light breakfast fare and coffee will be served.

“Veterinarian Jennifer Conrad is both the director and heroine of her impassioned documentary strongly making the case against the declawing of cats. Named for the organization she founded to promote the banning of this all too common practice—some 25% of domesticated cats in the United States have undergone the procedure—The Paw Project is an eye-opening film that will be of interest to the millions of cat owners pondering whether or not to have their pets undergo similar treatment.” The Hollywood Reporter

This is a free event however guests are asked to call the Humane Society at (772) 388-3331 ext. 110 if they are interested in attending.
