The Vero Beach Museum of Art is pleased to announce Fall Term Art Class registration for adults now through the first week of classes which begin the week of October 1, 2018.
Professional instructors are on-hand to address the needs of both beginners, intermediate and advanced students, with opportunities to explore painting, mixed media, drawing, photography, art history, jewelry, ceramics, and more.
New classes this term include Introduction to Digital Photography: Getting The Most Out of Your DSLR with Kenneth George; Qigong And Guided Meditation with Hester Denniston; Encaustics Ii with Vickie Marsango; Would You Like To Re-Purpose Your Out-Dated Jewelry? with Gina Johnson; and Celebrate With Clay with Kent Johnson for intermediate and advanced levels; and Throw Like A Pro with Kent Johnson for all levels.
There are two workshop offerings How to Look at Contemporary Art with Sara Klein and Danielle Johnson. This workshop focus around the Made In Germany exhibition with a brief art historical view led by Museum Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, Danielle Johnson; guided looking in the galleries facilitated by Director of Education, Sara Klein; and a creative art project for participants in the studios. The second workshop offering Designing Your Painting in Watercolor is with instructor Joel Johnson and focuses on how to design your painting composition and organize shapes and spaces.
There has never been a better time than now to try something new, renew a skill you once had or learn new professional techniques to enhance your creative abilities.
Registration is open now with classes for both 5 and 10 week terms available. Most fall sessions begin the week of October 1st but check the schedule for sessions beginning in November.
