Gallery 14 is happy to present Karen Leffel-Massengill as a guest artist for the month of January. The exhibit will run from January 2 – 25, with a reception on Friday January 4, from 5-8pm, as part of the Downtown Historic Arts District First Friday Gallery Stroll. Karen, a popular artist and teacher with a studio in Palm City, FL, is known nationally and internationally for her award winning watercolors and oils. Having grown up travelling with her parents to many areas of the globe, Karen drew creative inspiration from places such as France, Germany, Turkey and Thailand, among other locations where she spent her formative years. She will be presenting examples of new and favorite pieces in this lovely exhibit.
Also, in the January show, will be work in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, collage, sculpture, ceramic, jewelry, and photography, by artist-owners: Edgardo Abello, Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Beth-Anne Fairchild, Mary Ann Hall, Barbara Landry, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, and Dorothy Napp Schindel, and some pieces by Joan Earnhart and Carol Staub held over from the December 2018 show. On display, as well, will be work by Walford Campbell, Joan Earnhart, Diana Feuer, Terry Green, Mia Lindberg, Viola Pace Knudsen, Francis Mesaros, Michael Robinson, and Carol Staub.
