Have you ever wondered what gator tastes like? What about the wild boars of Florida?
If you have, you’ve probably dismissed the thought as either ‘unavailable’ or ‘unaffordable’.
Wonder no more! “Take A Walk on the Wild Side” with the Rotary Club of Vero Beach Oceanside as they hold their annual Wild Game Feast on January 26, 2019, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery. In addition to gator and wild boar, other game items will include venison, wild turkey, pheasant and a turtle dish. Delicious side dishes and desserts will complete your open air dining experience.
Though proceeds will support the Rotary Vero Beach Oceanside Foundation Charities, this is no ordinary fundraising event. With a focus on family fun, there will be a Bullwhip Crackin’ competition, corn-hole games, live music by the Tom Jackson Band, raffles and an auction. John Michael Matthews has offered a diamond necklace for a special raffle, and other sponsors have contributed some remarkable items, including some impressive iron work statues.
Tickets are limited and sold in advance. Children 10 and under are free, and adult tickets are only $35. For more details and payment options, visit www.WGFRotaryVBO.org.
