ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
Join us at the Vero Beach Museum of Art for our annual Children’s Art Festival event for the enjoyment of families and children of the community. The event, to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 1 pm to 3 pm throughout the Museum, is inspired by the City as Vero Beach turns 100 years old! This year we honor tradition and celebrate our community with art-making, local youth performances, open art galleries, and interactive play, all inspired by the things we love about Vero Beach.
The Vero Beach Centennial will inspire many youth performances, such as St. Edward’s Lower School Class of 2028! Indian River Charter High School Art Club will sponsor a studio activity related to our beloved beaches.
Visitors will enjoy free admission to the current exhibition Victorian Radicals and a dramatic storytelling performance by the “Mad Hatter” and his friends.
Lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be available for purchase at The Museum Café/Catering by Wood n Spoon in the Laura and Bill Buck Atrium.
The event concludes with the Indian River County Juried Student Exhibition and awards presentation at 3 pm in the Leonhardt Auditorium.
