This year’s musicians in residence are from the Opera Orchestra of Sofia, Mission Symphony of Switzerland, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Rome Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Francais,   and others, all joined in a cultural exchange by principal musicians of the Symphony of the Americas. Soloists are Angelo di Veroli from Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma, Italy and Summerfest Concertmaster Orlando Forte from Cuba.

Artistic Director, Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese, will lead a musical program featuring music of Humperdinck, Tartini, Mozart, Verdi, Elgar and Stamitz.  Highlighted is a commissioned composition by Italian composer in residence, Lorenzo Turchi-Floris.

Music students from middle through high school are invited to attend the performance as guests of the Cultural Council.
