Nancy Baker, M.D., honored by We Care of Indian River

Dr. Denis Saver, president of the board of the We Care Foundation of Indian River, is delighted to announce that Nancy Baker, M.D. is the “We Care Volunteer Doctor of the First Quarter of 2021.”  Dr. Baker has had a family practice in Vero Beach for 19 years, and has been a volunteer doctor for the last 18 years providing free medical care to those without health insurance who qualify for the We Care Program.  A graduate of the University of Miami Medical School, Dr. Baker was chosen for this honor because of her commitment to and compassion for her patients.

When asked why she decided to volunteer with We Care, she replied. “Ever since medical school the opportunity to provide charity care has been part of the reason I became a doctor.  It is so personally fulfilling to help others.” Dr. Baker has recently opened a new direct primary practice in Vero Beach.  To learn more about her new “hybrid” practice go to https://coastalcompletedpc.com/
