The Annual Pelican Island Conservation Society (PICS) Annual Bird and Nature Art Show is set for October 4th-30th at the Environmental Learning Center during normal ELC hours. Over 100 pieces of Bird and Nature art have been entered this year from the surrounding area all to support and bring attention to the National Wildlife Refuge Week Oct 11-17th.

You will find tours to fit everyone’s interest from Shorebirds on Monday Oct 11, to Migratory Birds on Tuesday, Beginning Birding for Kids on Wednesday, an Owl Hoot on Thursday evening, a lecture on Bird Photography on Friday night and Slide show of Birds at the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge Saturday night, Oct 16, after the Artists Reception & Awards Presentation. Also included will be 3 dates for the Vero Beach Outlets Sunset Cocktail Cruise, Oct 2, 9, and 13; 3 dates for ELC’s Native Plant Walks, Oct 6, 13, and 20th.
