On Sunday, November 28, 2021, for the fifth consecutive year, more than 1,650 museum stores representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia, 24 countries, and five continents will offer inspired shopping at museums and cultural institutions during Museum Store Sunday. The Museum Store at the Vero Beach Museum of Art is thrilled to participate in this signature annual initiative and join museum stores worldwide by offering unique gifts for the holiday season—with all purchases supporting its parent institution.

During this day, as part of the VBMA participation in Museum Store Sunday, shoppers will be offered a special 20% off* all store-wide merchandise on this one day. Each purchase supports the mission and programs of the Museum.

“We are delighted to be participating in this anniversary year for Museum Store Sunday,” said Barbara Dunn, VBMA Museum Store Manager. “This year, we are excited to showcase our broad assortments of unique, mission-related gifts and invite everyone to “Be A Patron” with every purchase from our Museum Store directly supporting the educational mission of the Vero Beach Museum of Art. We also want to remind shoppers that Museum admission is not required to shop the store.”

Karen McNeely, President of the MSA Board of Directors and Director of Retail Operations at the Milwaukee Art Museum, continued, “We’re excited to celebrate the five-year anniversary of Museum Store Sunday—five years of supporting cultural institutions around the globe, offering unique gifts for the whole family, and encouraging communities to shop local. During these uncertain times, Museum Store Sunday provides consumers with opportunities to not only find unique educational gifts—but to also lend needed support to their local museums, many of which are still recovering after extended closures due to the pandemic.”

Shoppers can look forward to Museum Store Sunday as the global annual day to Be a Patron – and shop conscientiously and support museum stores and their missions worldwide. While there is only one Museum Store Sunday each year, everyone is encouraged to Be a Patron of museums and museum stores all year round.
