The Indian River Genealogical Society is pleased to announce Thomas MacEntee as the program speaker at our regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. The program will start at 11:00 am followed by a brief business meeting. The meeting is FREE and open to the public. This meeting is virtual and pre-registration is required. Participants will get up to speed on the history of the 1950 US Census, why the 1950 US Census form is radically different from previous forms, and how the data will be accessed. In addition, what you can do NOW to prepare for the release of the 1950 US Census will be covered along with volunteer projects related to indexing and finding aids.
