Ballet Vero Beach is thrilled to announce Program 1: Franco American January 14-16 at The VBHS Performing Arts Center. The company promises continued safe live performances, digital offerings, unique experiences, and programming for all!
The official opening of Ballet Vero Beach’s 2021-2022 Season promises a program celebrating eclectic French and American influences on the company. Matthew Lovegood’s lush and romantic French Songs returns, Adam Schnell’s wistful Pavane emerges for the first time since Ballet Vero Beach’s inaugural performance, and French choreographer Yves de Bouteiller’s supremely allegorical West Side Story Suite makes its company debut capping off this rich cross cultural offering.
As a continued thank you to all our patrons, and in an effort to continue to make our programming accessible, all productions for the season, including Program 1, will be available in our hugely popular Watch at Home format. Check the website for additional details. Also, for the young (and young at heart), The Sleeping Princess kicks off our Accessible/Family Friendly Series for the season January 16 at 2:00pm. These extra special hour-long performances are specifically geared to the needs of the differently abled individuals of our community and also young children. Performances include: modified audio/visual effects and venue setup that meets the needs of all attendees with differing abilities. Performances are a bit more informal and may include Q&A sessions or opportunities to take photos with a dancer. All seats are $10 and free tickets are available to Ticket Donation Program partners.
