Calvin Shields is the new Treasure Coast Jazz Society Treasurer. After 34 years of working in various capacities with Central Soya; Cal has retired, doing consulting internationally, and serving on the Board of Xela Enterprises. Since Cal retired from Central Soya in the mid 90’s he has lived a rather mundane life.  He did a bit of consulting; traveled around Europe, Asia, and Australia with his wife; played a lot of golf in Michigan and Florida; cared for his wife in her failing days with Alzheimer’s; and wrote a book of stories about the people he has known.  His life over the past 30 years has been satisfying and is looking forward to joining the board of the Treasure Coast Jazz Society. www.tcjazz.org, tcjazzsociety@gmail.com or call them at 772-234-4600 for tickets for the 2022 concert season starting Jan. 15th at the Vero Beach Yacht Club, 12:30pm.
