The safety of our patrons, artists and staff are paramount and Riverside Theatre is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Nicole and its intensification into Hurricane Nicole on Wednesday, November 9th.
With Nicole expected to make landfall on Wednesday and with our area already on hurricane watch status, the matinee and evening performances of Butterflies Are Free on Wednesday, November 9th as well as the evening performance on Thursday, November 10th will be cancelled.
The Box Office is currently contacting ticket holders for those three performances and offering exchanges, credits or refunds.
The final weekend of performances for Butterflies Are Free will continue Friday, November 11th and will conclude its scheduled run on Sunday, November 13th.
Performance Schedule:
November 12 & 13 @ 2pm
November 11 & 12 @ 8pm
Comedy Zone performances on Friday and Saturday at 7pm and 9pm will go on as scheduled. Comedians Coleman Green and Vinne Ward will be performing.
Live in the Loop performances on Friday and Saturday from 5:30 – 9pm will go on as scheduled with The Stone Clones playing our outdoor stage on Friday and Glory Days performing on Saturday.
Playtime in the Park for Saturday, November 12th will also be cancelled since rehearsals will not be able to take place during this week.
The Riverside Theatre campus will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, November 9th and 10th and will reopen on Friday, November 11th.
