Gallery 14 is delighted to open their 19^th season with a dual show featuring popular Florida artists John H. C. Davis and Vicki Morrison.  The exhibit entitled: Land, Sea and Sky: Hand Cut Linoleum Prints by John H. C. Davis AND Degrees of Saturation: Paintings by Vicki Morrison, will run from October 1 – 30 2026.   There will be a reception in collaboration with the First Friday Gallery Stroll on Friday October 2, 5-8 pm.  

John, born in Puerto Rico, holds an BFA from Tulane University. He has incorporated an artisan aspect to his prints by using linoleum cuts on handmade paper.  He designs the print, cuts the image and hand pulls each image using black printing ink. After drying, each is individually painted. 

Vicki, a former critical care nurse, studied at UCLA and California State University – where she received a BFA in Drawing and Painting. Heavily influenced by her surroundings in Vero Beach, her mixed media process of adding and removing finds just the right balance of texture, color and line.

 Also featured: Gallery 14 artrist-owners: Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Barbara Landry, Mary Ann Hall, Jessica Leto, Deborah Morrell Polackwich,  Dorothy Napp Schindel and Evan Schwarze AND represented artists: Walford Campbell, Jim Cohoe, Melanie Denison, Joan Earnhart, Mia Lindberg, Francis Mesaros,  George Paxton, Michael Robinson,  and Jo Zaza.
