Indian River Clay’s ‘Yours, Mine & Ours’ set for Oct. 23, 24, 25

Indian River Clay’s “Yours, Mine & Ours” is a collaborative mashup of mixed media featuring pottery, paintings and other forms of artwork from more than two dozen artists. This 3-day exhibit and sale is set for Oct. 23, 24, 25 at Raw Space Gallery.

Indian River Clay members have teamed up with each other, friends and family members to create artwork for this exhibit. One artist in the collaboration had to be a potter, while the other could work in any chosen media. Each artist has submitted their own piece and one piece representing their collaboration, for a total of three pieces of artwork for sale to the public.

Mark your calendar for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 for opening festivities at Raw Space Gallery, 1795 Old Dixie Highway, which is a large, indoor gallery near downtown Vero Beach. The exhibit continues from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25. Refreshments will be available.

Indian River Clay is a non-profit ceramic arts studio in Vero Beach founded in 2018. It has grown to 75 working potters. ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

“Yours, Mine & Ours” is a collaborative exhibition in which Indian River Clay potters partner with artists from any medium to create dynamic sets of three interrelated artworks. Each set includes two individual pieces and one collaborative piece, exploring personal expression, shared vision, and collective creativity across ceramics, painting, metalwork, fiber, and more.

As is tradition with “Yours, Mine & Ours,” one team’s collection will be honored by show attendees. The team selected for the People’s Choice Award will receive a $300 prize. Additional awards may also be announced before the event, and award winners will be determined by attendee votes.
