If you are looking for some inspiration, a way to discover local art, to connect with the artist and discover a way to support our community of Vero Beach, mark your calendar for Friday, November 6, when the Vero Beach Chamber of Commerce presents their Chamber Gallery from 5p.m. to 8 p.m.
The featured artist of the evening is Chuck Sinclair presenting his meaningful and inspirational display, “From Hidden to Housed.” A selected group of photography taken by Sinclair, are the hidden faces of the homeless, neighbors of The Source. But the good news, once homeless they may have been, but thanks to The Source’s successful offering of programs and services to them, many are now with roofs over their heads, employed and living a life of dignity.
Sinclair, a long-time supporter of the non-profit, has designed his display in a unique manner. Bring your phones to enjoy the entire exhibit. Each photo will have an associated QR code for you to click on that will give you a good news story for each image. He also plans to offer a special gift for the first 30 people who attend, and there will be information about The Source on hand and people answering any questions you may have about the organization. There will also be complimentary wine, water, soft drinks and appetizers available.
The Vero Beach Chamber of Commerce is located at 1420 19th Place in historic downtown Vero Beach. The event is complimentary and all are welcome. For more information, contact The Source at 772-564-0202 and ask for Jonathan Orozco, or email him at Jonathan.orozco@iamthesource.com.
