Environmental Learning Center offers Family Fishing Day Sept. 26, 8:00 a.m. Led by Wabasso School of Fishing this is a free, hands-on fishing program that introduces young anglers to the joys of fishing while encouraging a lifelong appreciation for Florida’s waterways.
Environmental Learning Center offers Dolphin Drift: SUP Yoga on Sept. 26, 9:30 a.m. This is a 60-minute yin-inspired yoga class on stand-up paddleboards, perfect for beginners and those looking to unwind on the water. No paddleboarding or yoga experience is necessary.

Environmental Learning Center offers Walking Meditation on Sept. 27 at 1:00 p.m. Walking meditation is a ‘meditation in motion,’ great for beginners and seasoned meditators alike. If our daily lives are defined by ‘going to’ or ‘coming from’, walking meditation is a practice of mindfulness and being present in the moment.
Environmental Learning Center offers Chair Yoga Sept. 29, 3 p.m. Join us for a gentler, more accessible form of yoga that’s done while sitting or using a chair for balance. Move into poses like cat/cow, warrior, sun salutations and forward folds.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Museum Stories at VBMA Sept. 30 at 9:30 a.m. Every Wednesday at the VBMA unless closed for holiday. A theme-based, participatory program for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers that includes reading books, singing songs, dancing, and creating art together. Museum Stories takes place in the VBMA’s Art Zone. 9:30-10:30 a.m. (0-24 months) and 10:30-11:30 a.m. (2-4 years).

Vero Beach Museum of Art presents Jill Nathanson: Chromatic Phrases in Schumann and Titelman galleries. This exhibition presents recent work by Jill Nathanson, whose abstract paintings are shaped through a deliberate process that balances spontaneity with a predetermined structure. In her work, color does not remain fixed or purely descriptive but instead suggests movement as it is shaped by the interaction of light and perception. Exhibit continues to Feb. 7, 2027.
