The magic of the holiday season is coming to life as the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department presents “The Mythical Christmas Tree” on Sunday, December 13, 2026, at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center.
Featuring performers from Leisure Square Gymnastics and the Aerial Antics Youth Circus, this annual holiday production combines gymnastics, aerial artistry, dance and storytelling to create a magical experience for audiences of all ages.
The story takes audiences into an enchanted forest where a legendary Christmas tree has the power to bring wishes and hope to those who believe. Magical snowflakes, frost sprites, holiday characters and talented young performers will help bring the story to life through spectacular acrobatic and artistic performances.
Two performances will be presented on December 13 at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, 1707 16th Street.
Children Can Join the Production
Children and teens ages 3 and older who would like the opportunity to participate in “The Mythical Christmas Tree” can register for the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department’s gymnastics program at Leisure Square on Saturday, October 17, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The Recreation Department’s gymnastics program is performance-based and focused on positive reinforcement, skill building and providing an opportunity for every child to participate. Gymnastics students will have the unique opportunity to work toward performing in the holiday production alongside members of Aerial Antics Youth Circus.
The six-week gymnastics session costs $60 for City residents and $75 for non-City residents, including participation in the holiday performance.
