Environmental Learning Center presents Little Wonders Oct. 3, 10:00 & 11:30 a.m. A nature enrichment and early literacy program geared for children 2-5 years old accompanied by a caregiver (additional guests pay admission fee). Outdoor exposure benefits humans in so many ways, yet we do not spend enough time outside.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Museum Babies & Museum Toddlers Oct. 6, 9:30 a.m. First Tuesdays of the month. Babies and their caregivers join in art viewing, sensory experiences, and playful learning in the galleries. The program takes place in the museum’s galleries and include an art activity. Space is limited; preregistration required.
McKee Botanical Garden offers Wonders of McKee Garden Tours Oct. 6, 10:30 a.m. Weekly guided strolls where you’ll learn about the remarkable story behind McKee’s historic tropical oasis. Not intended for groups or school tours.
Environmental Learning Center offers Chair Yoga Oct. 6, 3 p.m. Join us for a gentler, more accessible form of yoga that’s done while sitting or using a chair for balance. Move into poses like cat/cow, warrior, sun salutations and forward folds.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Museum Stories at VBMA Oct. 7 at 9:30 a.m. Every Wednesday at the VBMA unless closed for holiday. A theme-based, participatory program for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers that includes reading books, singing songs, dancing, and creating art together. Museum Stories takes place in the VBMA’s Art Zone. 9:30-10:30 a.m. (0-24 months) and 10:30-11:30 a.m. (2-4 years).
Environmental Learning Center offers Yoga with Annie, 4 p.m. Oct. 9. Experience Yoga as we explore gentle stretches and meditative breath-work enhanced by the beautiful and thriving natural world around us at ELC! Yoga can generate wellness by creating the conditions for calm, balance, and focus, as well as physical flexibility and strengthening.
McKee Botanical Garden presents Commemorative Book Launch of The Jungle Garden: Preserving a Tropical Landscape on October 9. The book is available for sale Nationally.
McKee Botanical Garden exhibits Return of the Wild Oct. 10 through Dec 2027. Gillie & Marc’s globally recognized animal sculptures, set along McKee’s winding paths, beneath towering palms and ancient oaks, evoke the history of the Garden when animals once called the jungle home.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Second Saturday on Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. Admission is free every second Saturday of the month. Second Saturdays features a variety of cultural offerings, including the widely popular Museums Studios for families. Activities vary each month.

Vero Beach Museum of Art presents Jill Nathanson: Chromatic Phrases in Schumann and Titelman galleries. This exhibition presents recent work by Jill Nathanson, whose abstract paintings are shaped through a deliberate process that balances spontaneity with a predetermined structure. In her work, color does not remain fixed or purely descriptive but instead suggests movement as it is shaped by the interaction of light and perception. Exhibit continues to Feb. 7, 2027.
