news release
The Indian River County Supervisor of Elections Office is notifying voters that sample ballots for the upcoming November 3 General Election have been mailed and should begin arriving in mailboxes this week.
Sample ballots provide voters with important information, including a preview of the contests and candidates that will appear on their official ballot, polling location details, and voting instructions. Voters are encouraged to review their sample ballot carefully and use it as a guide to prepare before voting.
“Receiving a sample ballot is a great opportunity for voters to familiarize themselves with what they’ll see when they go to their polling place,” said Leslie Rossway Swan, Indian River County Supervisor of Elections. “We encourage everyone to take a few moments to review their sample ballot and make a voting plan.”
Voters can also view their personalized sample ballot online by visiting www.voteindianriver.gov and clicking on the “I Want To…Find My Sample Ballot” link.
