news release
The Indian River County Supervisor of Elections Office announces that early voting for the November 3, 2026 General Election will begin on Monday, October 19, and continue through Saturday, October 31, including weekends.
The Supervisor of Elections has added a fourth early voting site for the general election. The Intergenerational Recreation Center (IG Center) located in south Vero Beach will now serve as an early voting location.
Early voting will be available daily from 8 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday, October 22 and Thursday, October 29 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Indian River County’s four convenient early voting locations are as follows:
Intergenerational Recreation Center – 1590 9th Street SW, Vero Beach (new location)
Supervisor of Elections Office – 4375 43rd Avenue, Vero Beach
Indian River County Main Library – 1600 21st Street, Vero Beach
Sebastian City Hall Council Chambers – 1225 Main Street, Sebastian
Voters may choose the location most convenient for them, regardless of their residential precinct. Early voting offers a flexible and efficient option for those who prefer to cast their ballot ahead of Election Day.
“Early voting provides a convenient way for Indian River County voters to participate in the election on their own schedule,” said Leslie Rossway Swan, Indian River County Supervisor of Elections. “We encourage all eligible voters to take advantage of this opportunity.”
Beginning October 19, voters will be able to view current wait times for each of the four early voting locations on the Supervisor of Elections website. The wait times will be available on the homepage at www.voteindianriver.gov.
Secure ballot intake stations (also known as drop boxes) will be available during early voting hours for voters to deliver their completed vote-by-mail ballot. The secure ballot intake stations will be continuously monitored, and daily at the close of early voting, all ballots are delivered back to the Supervisor of Elections Office.
Unofficial voter turnout is posted on the Supervisor of Elections website. Turnout by method, party, precinct, location, and date is updated frequently throughout the day.
