Miracle on 14th coming in December

arts & entertainment

Historic Downtown Vero Beach is preparing to shine this holiday season as local property owners, businesses, and community organizations come together in creating the tradition of Miracle on 14th, presented by Main Street Vero Beach and Vero Heritage.

The effort aims to illuminate and decorate downtown buildings and streets, creating a free holiday destination throughout the season for families from Indian River County and neighboring communities. Organizers also hope the displays will encourage visits to local merchants, as they also participate in a ‘Deck the Doors’ competition.

TP Kenedy, a downtown property owner has committed building participation and donated to the Miracle on 14th to kickstart the decorating initiative:  ‘As a fifth-generation Vero resident, downtown holds a special place in my heart. My grandfather was the general manager of the Historic Florida Theatre until it closed in 1982- my childhood memories are intertwined with downtown. Supporting Miracle on 14th is a way for me to honor those roots, give back to the community, and help another generation of families create lasting memories.” Other notable owner partnerships include Joe Cotaldo, Brackett Family Limited, Rob MacCallum of Exit Right Realty, Scott Chrisholm of Scott’s Sporting Goods, and Robbie Vaccaro of Vero Beach Sports Bar. These amazing community leaders are joining the cause with their properties & buildings, as well as participating on committees and pledging support!
