EcoFest set for Sunday, March 1

Join us for EcoFest at the Environmental Learning Center (ELC) in Vero Beach on Sunday, March 1, from 11-4. EcoFest is Indian River County’s favorite environmental festival. It’s fun for the whole family!
The day will feature free admission, free canoe quick trips along the Indian River Lagoon, incredible wildlife programs by Treasure Coast Wildlife Center, food trucks, face painting, eco-crafts, scavenger hunts, live music by Zan Ricky, a drum circle, art exhibits, and a community quilt competition. Check out fascinating workshops on forest therapy, bird photography, the Trees for Life program and protecting the Indian River Lagoon’s health. Guests will also get the chance to win complimentary pontoon boat rides and free memberships.
Exhibitors include the Pelican Island Audubon Society, Treasure Coast Wildlife Center, Barrier Island Center, Florida Forest Service, Harbor Branch’s Marine Mammal Ambulance. Click and Grow and the League of Women Voters.
