ART IN PUBLIC PLACES IN THE AGE OF SOCIAL DISTANCING

As the Administrator for several of the Art in Public Places program for the Cultural Council of IRC, I am excited that so many area artists are showing us your inspiration in a time of social distancing! Keep sending us your efforts: be they guided by an inner journey, by an external influence or by the simple desire to say “I’m here creating”. We want to know that you are out there, lighting up your world. And we want to share those inspirations with the Community. When we are able to hang new Art in Public Places shows, we will showcase work that has been created by you during this period. Thank you, from myself and the Cultural Council, for being an important part of the Creative Community.
