DevineMrs. Jill Devine, 57, passed away December 10, 2013 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay.  Jill attended school and lived in Westbrook, Connecticut and attended Yale University. 
She moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL in 1987 and in 1998, with husband Pat, moved aboard the yacht Paradise. She later moved to Micco to live in their retirement home. 
Jill enjoyed Greek history, visiting Athens with Pat, and having dogs and cats for company. 
She joined TNT Reality with Jack Timmons in Fort Lauderdale as a Real Estate Associates. 
Jill also volunteered with Red Cross, The Human Society and Broward General Hospital all in Fort Laurderdale, FL. 
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Pat Devine of Micco; brother, Rick Lafave of Micco; sister, Janie Liejeski and her husband, Roger; and nephews’, Paul & David Liejeski and their families. 
Memorial contributions may be made to William Childs Hospice House or the Humane Society of your choice in memory of Jill Devine.

Phyllis Mae Hickinbotham, 87, of Vero Beach, Florida died Monday, December 9, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.  Phyllis was born in Appleton, Wisconsin and moved to Vero Beach over thirty years ago from Appleton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach where she actively volunteered. Phyllis enjoyed cross stitch and was an excellent seamstress. Her sewing abilities led her to tailor all of her husbands suits and create many garments for the church bazaar. Survivors include her son John C. Hickinbotham of Cape Coral, daughter Cynthia Jane Hickinbotham of Appleton, Wisconsin, brother Ranald Grunert of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Lyle Charles Hickinbotham.  SERVICES: Interment will be in Wisconsin.  www.strunkfuneralhome. schmitzBrian P. Schmitz, 36, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. Brian was born in Johnson City, New York and had lived in Vero Beach since 1986, coming from Deposit, New York. Brian was a loving and loyal son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend. He was of the Episcopal faith and achieved Life Scout merit with the Boy Scouts of America. Brian received his diploma from Vero Beach High School and ABC Bartending school. Brian was fondly known for being a kind, funny and helpful friend to everyone. Brian was a talented trombone player. He loved fishing, cooking, and working on cars and electronics. He will be missed by many lifelong friends. Survivors include mother Ivana Gerhard of Vero Beach and father Philip Schmitz of White Mills, Pennsylvania, sisters Diane Fannin and her husband Ty of Vero Beach and Deborah Soroka and her husband Daniel of Vero Beach, grandmother Grace Miller of Vero Beach, nephews Nick and Jayse Soroka of Vero Beach, niece Rylee Fannin of Vero Beach, Florida, uncle Jim and aunt Fran Miller of Binghamton, New York, aunt Jackie Riveno of Unadilla, New York. He was predeceased by his beloved dog of 14 years C J. Memorial contributions may be made to Gifford Middle School Band Parents Association, Attn: Band, 4530 28th Court, Vero Beach, FL 32967 in memory of Brian Schmitz. A service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Vero Beach.
