The Sebastian Clambake Lagoon Festival is coming November 2nd, 3rd & 4th, and this year’s slogan is “Things Go Better with Clams,” submitted by Gina Belli of Roseland.
Fresh seafood booths, historic re-enactments, the Kid’s Zone, entertainment, the Press-Journal’s Clammer Jam, featuring some of our area’s best bands; demonstrations, vendor booths and more, will again be the focus in Sebastian’s Riverview Park from 2 PM to 9PM on Friday, November 2, 10AM to 9PM on Saturday, November 3, and 10AM to 5PM on Sunday, November 4. Admission is free – tickets will be sold for food and shirts.
The Clammer Jam runs throughout the weekend, with live music by The Mixers, Wiley Nash Band, Cheyenne Band, Ladies of Soul, Sleepin’ Dogz, HairPeace, and Hot Pink. Also performing are the Sebastian River High School Drumline, Brevard Equestrian Center, Sebastian Hip-Hop, Kashi School of Yoga, Sebastian Yoga, and the Sebastian Police K-9 Unit. And DJ SHHH OP will keep the music flowing! As a special treat, Sebastian Muscle Cars will present a car show along the river on Saturday. The Sebastian Clambake, billed as a “Lagoon Festival,” celebrates our special way of life along the Indian River, which has been the life-blood of our community since the 1700s. The lagoon provides our people with recreation, tranquil beauty and has fed our people for generations.
