The Vero Beach Chamber Orchestra is pleased to announce the appointment of Dasha Gilmore to the position of Orchestra Administrator. Ms. Gilmore, a native of Vero Beach, recently received a BA in Music from Florida State University and currently is completing a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from FSU. Dasha, an accomplished violinist, studied under Matt Stott of Vero Beach, and is also currently pursuing an active violin performance career.
Ms. Gilmore is ecstatic to work with the orchestra. “It is thrilling to be involved with the VBCO”, says Gilmore. “Very few organizations have such deep community roots and strong commitments to intergenerational collaborations. I’m looking forward to working with an orchestra that is so well integrated in the community and produces such beautiful, high quality performances.”
Vero Beach Chamber Orchestra’s next concert will be held on Sunday, April 14th at 2pm at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center. This concert focuses on more well-known German composers, featuring Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1, Mendelssohn’s Overture to “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, and Handel’s Water Music Suites No. 2 & No. 3.
