Impact 100 IR awards $500,000 in grants to local non-profits

news release

Impact 100 Indian River celebrated an extraordinary evening of philanthropy and community impact at its annual Grant Awards Celebration, held at Bent Pine Golf Club, awarding five transformational grants of $100,000 each to nonprofit organizations serving Indian River County.

With more than 200 members and guests in attendance, the event marked a powerful moment of connection, generosity, and shared purpose. The Bent Pine venue provided a beautiful setting for both the program and the celebration that followed.

“The evening was truly something special,” said Peg Regan, President of Impact 100 Indian River. “From the heartfelt words shared by our sponsors to the emotion expressed by our grantees, the impact of what we do together was felt across the entire room. It became clear—this was more than a program. It was a true celebration of transformation, generosity, and community.”

The 2026 $100,000 grant recipients are:

·         Hibiscus Children’s Center, Inc. – Supporting Families in Crisis

·         Safe Families for Children Treasure Coast – Bilingual Community Partners & Volunteer Coordinator

·         Team Success Enterprises – Moving Up, Moving Services

·         Treasure Coast Food Bank – Benefits Outreach Assistance

·         Tykes and Teens – Mental Health Outreach Hubs

Each of these programs represents meaningful, high-impact work and will use these funds to create lasting change throughout Indian River County.

The two remaining finalists were recognized with Merit Awards:

Hibiscus Children’s Center Team with 2025-2026 Impact 100 IR Board of Directors

·         Dynamic Life Inc. – Meeting Room Expansion

·         New Port Club of Vero Beach Inc. – Transformational Change: Building a Better Day

This season marked a deliberate evolution in Impact 100 Indian River’s grantmaking process – led by Grants Chair, Heather Blome – bringing greater rigor, consistency, and member engagement from evaluation through award. “This year’s process ensured thoughtful, well-informed decisions at every stage,” said Blome. “The seven finalists reflected exceptional work across our community.”

The evening also provided a meaningful opportunity to engage local students, with videography during the presentation of awards led by participants in the Vero Beach High School Digital Video/Photo Technology program. Following the program, guests continued the celebration during a cocktail reception featuring a jazz ensemble of students from the Vero Beach High School Band program.

“What we witnessed was not just the culmination of a grant cycle,” Regan added. “It was the impact of a community coming together with purpose. The Impact 100 model is simple but powerful—each woman contributes $1,000, each woman has one vote – and together, 100 women fund a $100,000 transformational grant. It’s a model that turns individual generosity into collective impact in a way none of us could achieve alone.”
