United Way to host 4th annual Trike Wars & Thank You Block Party

arts & entertainment

United Way of Indian River County invites the community to an evening of excitement, friendly competition, and celebration at the Fourth Annual United Way Block Party Featuring Trike Wars on Friday, June 5, 2026, on Flamevine in Vero Beach. The event begins at 5:00 PM and is open to the public.

The highlight of the evening is Trike Wars, a high-energy relay race where teams from United Way Torchbearer Workplaces, organizations that contribute $12,000 or more annually through employee and corporate giving, complete head-to-head for the championship trophy. Each team will battle it out in fast-paced heats, with bragging rights and community pride on the line.

Following the races, the celebration continues with a lively block party featuring live music from local favorite 60 West,  beverage offerings, and a festive, family-friendly atmosphere in the street-style setting.

Trike Wars serves as the culmination of United Way’s annual campaign, honoring the volunteers, donors, workplace partners, and funded programs that support United Way’s mission year-round. The event celebrates the collective impact made across Indian River County while bringing the community together in a fun and engaging way.

The 2025-2026 Torchbearer Workplaces include Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, Florida Power and Light Company, Indian River County, Merrill Lynch, Publix Super Markets, School District of Indian River County, and Seacoast Bank.

Community members are encouraged to attend, cheer on their favorite teams, and enjoy an evening that blends competition with celebration. For sponsorship opportunities, contact Sydney Mihailoff at (772) 567-8900 or Sydney.Mihailoff@UnitedWayIRC.org.
