news release
Anthony Zorbaugh, Executive Director of The Source, is pleased to announce the introduction of a new website for his thirty plus year organization.
“We have created and launched years of changes for this organization; from its original grass roots establishment of Bible study and feeding meals to the needy, to a full-service and comprehensive agency with a myriad of programs and services that have become a blueprint of success for homeless agencies” states Zorbaugh. “Now, anyone visiting www.iamthesource.org, will get a solid picture of what we do, who we serve and more, in an easy to read sequence of headings and associated material.”
The Source team of development, marketing, IT and social media have compiled an in depth look into the Source. According to Jonathan Orozco, Director of Development, “We feel that the new website accurately depicts the work we are doing that consistently expands based on the needs of our members and how this affects so many lives. We have created this new site for people to learn about what we are doing and perhaps become involved if they wish. We are excited that everything viewers need to know will be found there in a very reader-friendly format.”
Readers can discover headings that include Who We Are, Who We Serve, The Dignity Model, Impact, Ways to Give and Need Help. Each heading will fully explain each element to the fullest degree in a clear and concise manner that is and graphically enjoyable.
I am Ministries DBA The Source, is a Christian social outreach ministry that has been empowering communities into a lifestyle of service for the homeless, needy and families of Indian River County (IRC) since 1995. Local residents in need may visit their full-service reSource Center to become a member, receive a membership card, and begin their journey to restoring their lives. In doing so, The Source provides a wide range of Dignity Programs, housing through the Dignity Bus Mobile Shelters and other nearby housing facilities, restaurant-style hot meals, clothing provisions, counseling services, support groups, hygiene amenities, access to showers, mail and telephone facilities, and referrals for benefits through core programs and services that instill a sense of community. Their goal has always focused on, and is well on the way to eradicating homelessness in IRC.
