Focus on Doing Business with Local, State, Federal Governments
The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce invites all local businesses to attend a Government Procurement Workshop, scheduled for Thursday, December 14, 9am to 11am in the Chamber’s board room. Government agencies purchase a wide variety of goods and services: from paper products and office equipment to heavy machinery and professional services. Learn more on how your business can benefit.
Jennifer Hyde, Manager of Indian River County’s Purchasing Division, and Jeff Carver, Purchasing Director for the Indian River County School District, will provide information on the types of products and services each of their agencies seek to purchase, and explain the bid process as well as the documentation needed to submit purchasing bids. Scotty Wilson, Government Contracting Specialist with the Small Business Development Center at Indian River State College, will go over details on purchasing requirements for the State of Florida and federal agencies.
