Art For Art’s Sake –  Art in Social Isolation.  During this period of Social Distancing caused by the pandemic, the Cultural Council initiated a project as an attempt to see how creative individuals in the area responded to it. It has been almost 6 months since ART FOR ARTS SAKE’s inception…and we have been continually receiving wonderful images of work created by area Artists. Memories of places near and far…happy times spent with family and friends…pride and patriotism of Country…these are several of the themes that are resonating at this time. We have finally been able to install a new exhibit at one of the Art in Public Places venues: the Passenger Lounge at the Vero Beach Municipal Airport.  24 images, chosen by a panel, hang throughout the Waiting Room, allowing departing or arriving passengers the opportunity to view colorful work by some of the areas many talented Artists.   Running September 9 through January 1, 2021

The Indian River County Courthouse hosts exhibits of professional Florida Artists on an ongoing basis as part of the Art in Public Places program. On Exhibit “Original Intent” by Debra Jenkins Running September 11 through December 10, 2020
