A Meeting of the past chairmen of the Florida Craft Brew and Wingfest committees including President Richard Giessert, met to discuss this year’s event, coming up Feb. 20th. The past chairmen were greatly concerned with the quality of the event being eroded and the patron experience being sullied. They did not feel that this years committee could comfortably manage the event given the volunteer shortage and provide a high-quality festival as in years past while maintaining public safety. Therefore, they have decided to cancel this year’s Florida Craft Brew and Wingfest.

The annual VIP event, “Murder is Brewing at the VBO”, scheduled for Feb. 12th, is going forward given the controlled conditions and normal size of the event. The VIP is limited to 100 tickets. This event is not as labor intensive and is manageable with the committed volunteers. 

There will be an online auction “Luck of the Irish” as a fundraiser coming March 3-17th, the finale will be a Facebook Live event with time to be determined.
