The final of four Classic Albums Live (CAL) albums presented as part of the 2022 LIVE! From Vero Beach concert series is Pink Floyd-“Dark Side of the Moon”.The 3rd best-selling album of all time will be performed by CAL at the concert to be held on Thursday, March 31, 7 p.m. at The Emerson Center.

“Dark Side of the Moon” has sold 15 million copies in the U.S. since its release on March 1, 1973 and more than 45 million copies worldwide. A true colossus of classic rock, the album spent 937 weeks on the Billboard 200. This album was a career-defining artistic achievement for Pink Floyd’s transition from an experimental, jam-oriented progressive band to a top-echelon rock art characterized by its rich songwriting and Roger Waters’ mordant worldview. This complex, often psychedelic music works very well because Pink Floyd doesn’t rush anything; the songs are mainly slow to mid-tempo, with attention paid throughout to musical texture and mood. Hear Classic Albums Live perform the legendary songs of “Dark Side of the Moon” including “Time,” Breathe,” “Money,” “Us and Them,” and many other note-for-note, cut-for-cut music from this legendary album.
