The Gifford Youth Achievement Center (GYAC) proudly recognizes Jordan McPherson, Nadia Simms, and Franco Trujillo as GYAC’s Students of the Year. In honor of their hard work and dedication during GYAC’s after school program, McPherson, Simms and Trujillo were recently presented with a new iPad.

Throughout the past school year, McPherson, Simms and Trujillo were committed to their academics and demonstrated all of the characteristics of a model student: superior attendance, integrity, compassion, honesty and leadership skills. On occasion, they also served as ambassadors for GYAC at off-campus events.

All three students are looking forward to going back to school in the fall and attending GYAC’s After School Education Program, which is slated to start August 24.
