The projected course of Tropical Storm Isaias has moved further west but the cone of uncertainty still includes our area. It was moving northwest at 23 mph and is expected to slow down slightly over the next few days, forecasters said. On the forecast track, the center will move near or over Puerto Rico Wednesday night, near or over Hispaniola on Thursday and near or over the southeastern Bahamas on Friday. The latest track has the center of the storm just off the west coast of Florida on Sunday and Monday. But, there’s still much uncertainty with the path, and the cone of the storm includes almost all of Florida, plus parts of the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic. Regardless, it will probably affect weather between Sunday and Monday if it continues on its current course.
